The RENAQUA DSS design, development and implementation required four key stages:
- identification of suitable locations worldwide,
- centralice relevant MetOcean data and provide data access to enable prototyping devices and research activities virtually,
- analyse and design security measures for operators working at Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) platforms and aquaculture platforms on one hand, and design a solution that help their day-to-day activities to increase productivity of both sectors through the use of MetOcean data at local scale, and
- make use of the identification of the best co-location areas worldwide to build the RENAQUA DSS for MUPs, based on the knowledge acquired at Stage 3.
